Empire State Building

I woke up at 5.am and left home at 7.am to the airport. I arrived 8.30am and waited for Alex to come out. He finally came out an hour after...and then we went to terminal 8 to drop his luggage. Then we went to ChinaTown and had lunch. We didn't really have much time to do a "proper" tour, and well, there's not many things to do besides shopping in NYC and eating in fancy restaurants, right? So I took him to fifth avenue and 34th street to see the Empire State Building, and then his dad asked us to go up! It cost 19 dollars per adult...

The line to go up to the observatory (86th floor) was huge... and if you wanted to go to the 102nd floor, you had to pay. SO obviously, we just stayed on 86th. The view was great, you could literally see the whole city from there.
The first caption shows upper manhattan view, you can see central park and all the skyscrapers all over the city.
The second caption is a shot I took from my dorm! haha There's also the Madison Square Garden/Penn Station (the thing that looks like a stadium).

The wind was pretty strong too~ Just look at Alex and me, I really don't know how the models in ANTM can pose for the photo shoots with winds like that, or even when they put the big fans to blow their hair...it's crazy! it gets all over your face -.-!
