New York city

Radio City Hall!!!

Can't wait to graduate there!!! So I'm back here blogging... back to NYC, back to school at FIT. All my classes are fine, it's getting harder but I'm having fun, meeting new people and hanging out with my friends. It is really a small world, fortunately I know at least someone in every class. I had Photography class yesterday night, I was so pissed because I wasted an 36 exp, ILFORD film.... it cost me around $5.50. I felt so lost the entire class...and the French teacher...god help me...I can't understand what he says... Anyways... Human Nutrition class is kinda interesting, although she gives us so much work to do... and we can't bring our computers to class... so I will have to take notes by hand, and print all the PPT for class...such a waste of paper -.- and ink.... I think I'm printing everything tomorrow in class... hahaha~ Thank god we had that D-522 class with the printers.
Anyways... Advertising class is really fun because of the professor. She is really nice, and she knows her thing. Digital Layout...boy..he's kinda scary, looks like he comes from the army... lol but he is really cool~ XD Digital Imagery a.k.a. Photoshop class is gonna be fun because of Olen. I'm so glad we had her again. Printmaking is SOOOOOO cool~ I have so many expectations for this class. BTW her french accent is so funny... and my hands kinda hurts for carving for 3 hours... but still, I love it.
And finally..Designing with Type class...there's a Taiwanese teacher. I thought he was chinese. But anyways, he is soo funny, he is a complete character. Although is kinda weird when he starts asking ppl if they are single or not. He showed us his portfolio last class, and it was amazing. One of the highlights is his poster for HairSpray [the movie] and Legally Blonde. Very talented.

So, this is my 3rd semester, I can't believe I'm really graduating next semester...oh god...years go so fast...but I'm so glad I'll get my associate degree [AAS]. I also tried to buy my flight ticket yesterday. I have around 40 days of Winter Break x). I'm really excited! Summer is way more fun than winter in Peru T^T.

Well, I think that's a start. I'm blogging back later on..I took a nap, an extended one -.- and now I have so much homework to do~.

Ohhh btw, I adore my new dorm now! I'm sharing a small studio with Dho-Yee, and is so cool to finally have your own kitchen and bathroom! I think I'm cleaning up this weekend, so I can take pictures of it. ^^ Cooking is amazing, believe it or not...I'm frequently learning by myself new dishes, hahaha. But, it is so expensive to buy grocceries here, in the city. And going to the market takes me so long...it is a really long walk and the bags are usually freaking heavy. Dhoyee and I had to take the cab the other day... I'm considering either buying a cart (kinda embarassing) or ordering it online as some of my friends do. There are rumors saying that there is gonna be a new market around here, like 2 blocks away.... that would be SO FREAKING COOL.

ATM, I'm currently watching LOST in Veoh for free, extremely good quality, and sponsored by ABC. GG season 2 started last Monday, amazing! I'm so glad I'll be able to watch it on TV!!! Mondays at 8 o'clock :D at CW11. Project Runway season 5 is ok...not as good as season 4, but I can't wait to watch the next episode because Christian Siriano (so fierce!) is gonna be one of the judges! can't wait to see him with the other 2 finalists also from previous seasons...including Daniel Franco (finalist from season 2...he is so cute...he is a FIT alumni :O) And for books, I'm reading "El Arte de Matar" (the art of killing). Once again, I love thrillers x) and it is art-related, so it is a big plus. After that, I still have a book on hold at the NYPL, can't wait to read it also!
